    William Black 1771 &ndash 18 June 1866 was a Canadian shipper, merchant, and office holder born in Aberdeen, Scotland. Black grew up and was educated in Scotland. He immigrated to New Brunswick in 1798 work with his brother John Black New Brunswick merchant John , an established shipping and timber export merchant. By 1808 he was managing their timber trade in Saint John while his brother opened a new office in Halifax, Nova Scotia. In a few years they had the largest business enterprises in British North America. They both married daughters of Christopher Billopp , a leading an influential businessman and member of the Legislative Council of New Brunswick . Black was appointed to the Council in 1817 by George Stracey Smyth , the Lieutenant Governor. He eventually achieved the position of president of the council. Dennis was born at Beverly , Worcester County, Maryland , December 17, 1771 completed preparatory studies in Washington Academy attended Yale College studied law was admitted to the bar in 1793 and commenced practice in Somerset County, Maryland served two terms in the Maryland House of Delegates elected as a Federalist to the Fifth and to the three succeeding Congresses March 4, 1797 March 3, 1805 one of the managers appointed by the United States House of Representatives House of Representatives in 1798 to conduct the impeachment proceedings against William Blount , a Senator from Tennessee . He was the father of John Dennis 1807 1859 and uncle of Littleton Purnell Dennis . Dennis died in Philadelphia , Pennsylvania , where he was interred in Christ Church Burial Ground .   1. James O'Brien (1695?1771)

    Hon. James O Brien 1695 18 Dec 1771 was an Irish people Irish nobleman and politician. Life James O Brien was the son of William O Brien, 3rd Earl of Inchiquin , and his wife, Mary Villiers. He was born in 1695 at Inchiquin, County Clare . Not long after his birth, his family relocated to Charleville, County Cork . He married Mary Jephson, the daughter of the Very Reverend William Jephson, Dean of Diocese of Kilmore, Elphin and Ardagh Kilmore , and Anne Barry. From 1725 to 1727, O Brien sat as a Member of the Irish House of Commons for Charleville Parliament of Ireland constituency Charleville . In 1727, he was elected to the Irish House of Commons for Youghal Parliament of Ireland constituency Youghal . He held this seat until his retirement in 1761. While serving in Parliament, O Brien and his family lived in Drogheda , where he held the position of Collector of Customs for the Port of Drogheda. He retired to his brother s estate at Rostellan , County Cork. During his residency there, O Brien served as Collector of Customs for the Port of Cork until 1767. He died at Rostellan Estate in 1771. O Brien also served time as Grand Master Masonic Grand Master of the Freemasonry Freemasons of Munster . He was unanimously elected in 1727. In the army, he held the rank of Captain of Foot.
