He is designated as a member of the Thirty six Poetry Immortals and one of his poems is included in the famous anthology Hyakunin Isshu . Kanesuke s poems are included in several imperial poetry anthologies, including Kokin Wakash and Gosen Wakash . A personal poetry collection known as the Kanesukesh also remains. His great granddaughter was Murasaki Shikibu , author of the well known monogatari the Tale of Genji . They were traditionally hunters, but with the greater deforestation of their environment, they are now mainly farmers and fishermen. The Tiar in Bihar are found in the districts of Purnea , Bhagalpur , and Munger , and Hooghly, Howrah, North & South 24parganas in West Bengal and Jharkhand . A small number are also f ound in eastern Uttar Pradesh . The Tiar are now landless, and most are agricultural labourers. They are Hindu , but have their own tribal deity Raja Bhim Sen Salis.
