Zden k Neubauer born 30 May 1942 is Czech philosopher and biologist , remarkable especially for original interpretations in science history and epistemology . Born in Brno to family of the Brno normative legal school representative Zden k Neubauer sr. , he graduated from Charles University in Prague 1965 in microbiology , biology and chemistry , 1971 in philosophy . During his activity in Laboratorio Internazionale di Genetica e Biofisica in Naples 1967 1970 he made several discoveries in genetics . In 1982 left the university because of nonconformist attitudes both scientific and political . After that, he was mainly a philosopher a programmer analyst by job , publishing underground. Marlene Neubauer Woerner August 25, 1918 January 1, 2010 , born Marlene Woerner , was a German Sculpture sculptor . She began her studies of sculpture in 1936 at the Academy of Fine Arts, Munich Academy of Fine Arts in Munich under the guidance of Josef Henselmann and Richard Knecht. At the academy she was the first woman to study sculpture for use with public buildings. Since 1945 Marlene Neubauer Woerner has lived and worked as a freelance sculptor, based in Munich. From 1952 she has been a member of the Sezession, an association of artists in Munich and from 1958 a member of GEDOK, a German group of women artists. In 1978 she was honoured with the Schwabinger Kunstpreis Art Prize and in 1984 she received the Bavarian Order of Merit . She was a guest of honour at the Villa Massimo, Rome, in 1987. The cities of Cologne, Vienna, Paris and Athens have honoured her with their medals. She died on January 1, 2010 in Munich . Dr. Peter Neubauer July 5, 1913 February 15, 2008 was a noted child psychiatrist and psychoanalyst. Among his many roles, he served as Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at NYU, Past President of the Association for Child Psychoanalysis, and Former Secretary General of the International Association of Child Psychiatry and Allied Professions. He was a founding member of the National Center for Clinical Infant Programs, later to become ZERO TO THREE, and a founding member of the American Academy of Child Psychiatry. He served on the board of the Sigmund Freud Archives , was a member of The New York Psychoanalytic Institute, and from 1951 to 1985 was director of the Child Development Center of the Jewish Board of Family and Children s Services in Manhattan. His was one of a small number of Jewish families in Krems, Austria, where he was born on July 5, 1913. Neubauer received his medical training at the University of Vienna and The University of Bern, in Switzerland, to which he escaped during the Nazi control of Austria.
