Mountain AirExpress MAX was a short lived United States commuter airline founded in 1996. It flew Dornier 328 turboprops under a code share agreement with Western Pacific Airlines . It served such smaller communities as Aspen, CO and Casper, WY from its hub in Colorado Springs, CO. In 1997 both airlines moved their hub to Denver International Airport . Just after this move Western Pacific Airlines announced its plans to merge with Frontier Airlines .
