Unreferenced date December 2009 In deliberative procedure , compositing is the process of combining several motion democracy motion s into one composite motion . The process of compositing motions may be desirable for two reasons. First, it can save the time of an Deliberative assembly assembly by avoiding presenting two or more similar motions. Second, it can increase the amount of support for the main provisions of two or more motions by producing a composite motion for which the supporters of each motion are likely to vote . The major disadvantages of compositing are also twofold. The motions composited may, in some respects, be dissimilar some of their supporters will not wish to vote for some provisions of the combined motion. Some provisions may have to be omitted from the composite motions to reduce its length or because the supporters of the original motions will not agree to them. The procedure of submitting motions to some meeting conferences includes one or more rounds of compulsory compositing in other cases, the compositing may be informal. 1. Deep image compositing

Multiple issues wikify August 2010 orphan August 2010 Deep image compositing is a recently emerged way of compositing and rendering digital images. In addition to the usual color and opacity channels a notion of depth is created. This allows multiple samples in the depth of the image to make up the final resulting color. This technique is producing high quality results and removes artefacts around edges that could not be dealt with otherwise. Deep data Deep data is an image that holds additional information about each pixel along the z axis like multi layered images where each layer has a depth associated with. But unlike voxel s, only at some arbitrary specified points in depth. The data can be evaluated through different types of interpolation . Function based integrated The data is stored as a function of depth. This results in a function curve that can be used to look up the data at any arbitrary depth. Manipulating the data is harder. Sample based deintegrated Each sample is considered as an independent piece and can so be manipulated easily. To make sure the data is representing the right detail, an additional expand value needs to be introduced. Generating deep data 3D renderer s produce the necessary data as a part of the rendering pipeline. Samples are gathered in depth and then combined. The deep data can be written out before this happens and is so nothing new to the process. Generating deep data from camera data needs a proper depth map. This is used in a couple of cases but still not accurate enough for detailed representation. For basic holdout task this can be sufficient though. Compositing deep data images Deep images can be Compositing composited like regular images. The depth component makes it easier to determine the layering order. Traditionally this had to be input by the user. Deep images have that information for themselves and need no user input. Edge artifacts are reduced as transparent pixels have more data to work with. 1. Alpha to coverage

Alpha to coverage is a Multisample anti aliasing multisampling computer graphics technique useful for situations where dense foliage or grass must be rendered in a video game . This technique uses the Alpha compositing alpha channel of Texture mapping textures as a Mask computing Image masks coverage mask for anti aliasing . Alpha to coverage multisampling is based on regular multisampling, except that the Alpha compositing alpha coverage mask is Bitwise AND AND ANDed with the multisample mask. Alpha to coverage converts the Alpha compositing alpha component output from the pixel shader to a coverage mask. When the Multisample anti aliasing multisampling is applied each output fragment gets a transparency of 0 or 1 depending on alpha coverage and the Multisample anti aliasing multisampling result.
