    Tirumazhisai aazhvaar is one of the twelve Alvars of Vaishnavism and is so called as he was born in Thirumazhisai . This place has a temple for Jagannatha Perumal Lord Vishnu where you can see the idol of Thirumazhisai Azhwar with the eye on the thumb nail in his right leg. His asterism is makham. They are regarded as the greatest exponents of the bhakti tradition of Hinduism. Most of them came from the Tamil people Tamil region. The last of them lived in the 9th century. Icons of temple worship While north India produced Saints who wrote poetry and sang devotional music like Mirabai , Kabir and Surdas , they were not immortalised in art to be worshipped in temples. Saints of the western world are frequently portrayed in art, but their presence in churches and cathedrals does not seem to be universal. His younger brother Gaetano Donizetti was a famous Italian opera composer. Although the elder Donizetti was born in Bergamo , Italy , Istanbul became a second home for him, where he lived until his death in 1856. Donizetti Pasha Pa a , as he was called in the Levant, played a significant role in the introduction of European music to the Military of the Ottoman Empire Ottoman military . Apart from overseeing the training of the European style military bands of Mahmud s modern army, he taught music at the palace to the members of the Ottoman royal family, the princes and the ladies of the harem, is believed to have composed the first Ottoman imperial anthem national anthem of the Ottoman Empire , supported the annual Italian opera season in Pera, organised concerts and operatic performances at court, and played host to a number of eminent virtuosi who visited Istanbul at the time, such as Franz Liszt , Parish Alvars and Leopold de Meyer. In the tenth century CE Nambiyandar Nambi composed the Tiruto ar Ant di , a sequence of interlocking verses the title of which can be rendered as the Necklace of Verses on the Lord s Servants . In this work Nambi and Sundarar, himself and his parents to the sequence, creating what is now the canonical list of sixty three saints, each with a brief sketch of their legend. Life The son of a Bohemia born musician Charles Bochsa Karl Bochsa de Charles Bochsa de , Nicolas Charles Bochsa was able to play the flute and piano by the age of seven. In 1807 he went to study at the Conservatoire de Paris Paris Conservatoire . He was appointed harp ist to the Napoleon I of France Imperial Orchestra in 1813, and began writing opera s for the Op ra Comique . However, in 1817 he became entangled in counterfeiting , fraud , and forgery , and fled to London to avoid prosecution. He was convicted in absentia , and sentenced to branding and hard labour . Safe from French law in London, he helped found the Royal Academy of Music in 1821, and became its secretary. He taught there, amongst others, the British harp virtuoso Elias Parish Alvars . When his criminal conviction was revealed in 1826 he was forced to resign. He then became Musical Director of the Her Majesty s Theatre Kings Theatre in London. In 1839 he became involved in another scandal when he ran off with the opera singer Anna Rivi re Bishop, wife of the composer Henry Rowley Bishop . They performed together in United States America , Australia , and throughout Europe except France . In Naples Bochsa was appointed Artistic director Director of Teatro di San Carlo Regio Teatro San Carlo , the Royal Opera House and stayed there for two years. Bochsa arrived with Anna in Sydney at the time of the Victorian Gold Rush gold rush in December, 1855, but gave only one concert before Bochsa died.
