By that time, the flag that inspired Francis Scott Key to write the United States national anthem was just a frail piece of Bunting textile bunting . But Fowler called upon her patent ed Conservation restoration preservation techniques to save it from further deterioration . She used dyed to match silk thread and employed ten assistants to reinforce the convert 1020 sqft m2 adj on relic . She was married on 28 May 1793 to Charles Long, 1st Baron Farnborough Charles Long , afterwards first Baron Farnborough. She was well known in her day as a judge of art and a skilled horticulturist , and largely assisted in laying out the gardens at Bromley Hill, Kent . She died without issue at Bromley Hill on 15 Jan. 1837, and was buried at Wormley, Hertfordshire , with an elaborate tomb by Richard Westmacott .
