    The American Joint Committee on Cancer AJCC is an organization best known for defining and popularizing cancer staging standards, officially the AJCC staging system . The American Joint Committee on Cancer AJCC was established in 1959 to formulate and publish systems of classification of cancer, including staging and end results reporting, which will be acceptable to and used by the medical profession for selecting the most effective treatment, determining prognosis, and continuing evaluation of cancer control measures. The advisory body makes recommendations to the British government concerning mandatory vaccination schedule s and vaccine safety. JCVI is recognized as a non departmental public body NDPB in the UK. It is a statutory expert Standing Advisory Committee established in England and Wales under the National Health Service NHS Act 1977, and the NHS Order 1981, as the Standing Advisory Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation . It is also a Sub Committee of the National Professional Advisory Council covering Scotland. The JNC delegates the responsibility for the validation of training courses for youth and community workers to the Education and Training Committees of England, Wales and Ireland. Once the training courses have been validated they are entered into the JNC Report and those qualifying on those courses are entitled to JNC terms and conditions.
