Hailing from famous Patiala Gharana , Early life and background Ustad Amjad Amanat Ali, was born in Lahore, and was the eldest son of the famous Ustad Amanat AliKhan . He was trained by his grandfather Ustad Akhtar Hussain Khan from the age 8 along with his brother Asad Amanat AliKhan and uncle Hamid AliKhan . After his grandfathers demise the training was continued by Ustad Fateh AliKhan. Career Following the death of his father, Amjad Amanat Ali provided vocal accompaniment to Ustad Fateh AliKhan on a regular basis. His style of performance mirrored that of his father and was appreciated by the followers of Ustad Amanat AliKhan.
