Opened in August 2008 with freshmen and sophomores, Mission Oak is Tulare s newest high school and the first addition to the district since Tulare Western opened in 1959. Mission Oak s campus capacity is slightly more than 1,500. Its first senior class was in 2011. Mission Oak s total enrollment is approximately 1,450. The school s principal is Isidro Carrasco. Its colors are purple, black and white, and its athletic teams are nicknamed the Hawks and compete in the nine team East Yosemite League. The school s mascot is Mo the Hawk.
