Tutt Charles L. Tutt II , his granthfather Charles L. Tutt Sr. Charles L. Tutt I was a notable miner. He had two brothers, William Thayer Tutt William Thayer , born 1912, and Russell Thayer, born July 27, 1913, as well as a sister, Josephine Thayer Tutt, born June 1, 1919. He studied at the Thacher School. In college, he was on the fencing team and a member of Charter. Born in Wilson County, North Carolina , Wainwright earned a degree in political science as a Morehead Scholar at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill before working in agribusiness and real estate in Wilson, North Carolina for over 15 years. He earned his law degree from Wake Forest University in 1984. Wainwright is also a veteran of the United States Coast Guard Reserve . From 1986 to 1990, Wainwright practiced law in Morehead City and in Beaufort, North Carolina , at the firm Wheatly, Wheatly, Nobles & Weeks. In 1991, Governor James G. Biography Born in Chicago, Illinois he was educated at the University of Chicago and as Rhodes Scholarship Rhodes Scholar in University of Oxford Oxford . He was also educated at Heidelberg , Germany , and Grenoble , France . He held the position of professor of law at several State universities, also holding the position of Dean education dean of the College of Law at the University of North Dakota from 1912 to 1914.
