  1. Aboriginal stone arrangement

Image Wurdi Youang.jpg thumb A small part of the Wurdi Youang stone arrangement Aboriginal stone arrangements are a ritual art form constructed by Indigenous Australians , and are a form of rock art . Typically, they consist of stones, each of which may be about 30  cm in size, laid out in a pattern extending over several metres or tens of metres. They were made by many different Australian Aboriginal culture s,and in many case are thought to be associated with rituals. Particularly fine examples are in Victoria Australia Victoria , where the stones can be very large up to 1 metre high . For example, the stone arrangement at Wurdi Youang consists of about 100 stones arranged in an egg shaped oval about 50m across. Each stone is well embedded into the soil, and many have trigger stones to support them. The appearance of the site is very similar to that of the megalithic stone circles found throughout Great Britain Britain although the function and culture are presumably completely different . Although its association with Indigenous Australians is well authenticated and beyond doubt, the purpose is unclear, although it may have a connection with initiation rites. It has also been suggested that the site may have been used for Australian Aboriginal astronomy astronomical purposes Morieson 2003 . 1. IMF Stand-By Arrangement

The IMF Stand By Arrangement SBA is an economic program of the International Monetary Fund IMF involving financial aid to a member state in need of financial assistance, normally arising from a financial crisis. In return for aid, the economic program stipulates needed reforms in the recipient country aimed at bringing it back on a path of financial stability and economic sustainability. The SBA is a sub set of IMF and World Bank programs aimed at Structural adjustment . Description IMF s Stand By Arrangement was created in June 1952 to provide financing to countries requiring help with balance of payments problems. The SBA has often been used by member countries and is the dominant lending instrument of the IMF, especially for emerging market countries. After a significant pause in such aid, the financial crisis that erupted in 2008 resulted in a large number of countries requiring such financial assistance from the IMF. The financing terms are normally more advantageous than private markets offer. In 2009, the IMF upgraded the SBA to be more flexible and responsive to members countries needs. At the same time, the borrowing limits were doubled and more funds were made available up front. The CCAA within the Canadian insolvency r gime The Supreme Court of Canada did not have a chance to explain the nature of the CCAA until the groundbreaking case of Century Services Inc. v. Canada Attorney General in 2010. In it, a detailed analysis was given in explaining the nature of insolvency law in Canada. The Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act provides a more rules based approach for resolving a corporate debtor s insolvency, which must be observed strictly. The CCAA, on the other hand, provides a more discretionary approach that is remedial in nature, which therefore must be broadly construed. Although the CCAA was originally enacted in 1933, extensive use of it only began in the economic downturn of the early 1980s.
