The fort was situated on what is now the Basel M nster M nsterh gel in the Swiss city of Basel . The site was excavated by Furger Gunti in the 1970s. There is an older undefended La T ne site at Basel Gasfabrik , not far from the oppidum which was abandoned after the fort was completed. The Sinfonieorchester Basel Symphony Orchestra Basel is a Swiss orchestra based in Basel . The orchestra performs symphony concerts at the Musiksaal, Basel. The orchestra also serves as the opera orchestra and ballet orchestra for the Theater Basel . The orchestra receives funding from the half cantons of Basel Stadt and Basel Landschaft .
