The title makes reference of the French poet Antonin Artaud . Although Artaud was officially billed as the third Pescado Rabioso album, the Argentinean group had actually broken up by the time it was recorded. It s essentially a solo effort by singer guitarist songwriter Luis Alberto Spinetta , with contributions from his brother, drummer Carlos Gustavo Spinetta, bassist Emilio Del Guercio, and drummer Rodolfo Garc a, the latter two of whom had played with Spinetta back in the pre Pescado Rabioso band Almendra band Almendra . If it s something of a progressive psychedelic record, it has more to do with the juxtaposition of late 60s and early 70s styles on display than it has to do with the music itself. ref name Allmusic cite web last Unterberger first Richie url Allmusic class album id artaud r298952 review pure url yes title Artaud Pescado Rabioso publisher AllMusic date accessdate 2010 12 03 ref Track listing All songs written by Luis Alberto Spinetta Todas las hojas son del viento 2 12 Cementerio Club 4 55 Por 1 45 Supercher a 4 21 La sed verdadera 3 32 Cantata de puentes amarillos 9 12 Bajan 3 26 A Starosta, el idiota 3 15 Las habladur as del mundo 4 03 Musicians Luis Alberto Spinetta Guitars, Maracas, Cymbals, Piano and vocals. William Artaud 1763 &ndash 1823 , was an English painter of portraits and biblical subjects. The son of a jeweller in London, he gained a premium at the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures & Commerce Society of Arts in 1776, and exhibited his first picture at the Royal Academy in 1780. In 1783 he was awarded a silver medal and in 1786 the gold medal by the Academy, and nine years afterwards obtained the travelling studentship. He painted portraits and Biblical subjects, some of which were engraved in Thomas Macklin Macklin s Bible. His last picture exhibited at the Academy was in 1822. He painted portraits of Francesco Bartolozzi , Samuel Parr , Joseph Priestley , William Herschel and other leading figures of the day. Art historian Georg Kasper Nagler Nagler 1801 1866 , in his New General Dictionary of Artists gives a list of engravings after his paintings. The date of his death is not known. His portraits were cleverly drawn, and painted with great power. They have individuality of character, but want expression.
