The IACP was founded a small group of Dog Trainer dog trainers . Becoming a member To become a Certified Dog Trainer CDT , a person must submit documentation for an exam. There is no practical test of the trainer s ability. Documentation includes Exam registration form, three letters of reference, sample training handout and interview forms, three case studies, and three client forms.
