Starting from 1906 till 1910, he was in charge of the Division of Animal Breeding and Pathology at the Rhode Island Experiment Station and later became an instructor in zoology at Yale University . He went to University of Wisconsin in 1910, to initiate Department of Experimental Breeding, in hopes to save plant and animal life forms.
