The size of the Bull Biters varied from about 40 to 70 cm by 1850 the smaller lived from what today is Netherlands and Belgium , and the bigger, in Germany . In the late 1870s, German breeders Roberth, Konig, and Hopner used the dog to create a new breed, today called the Boxer dog Boxer . The blood composition was 50 50 at that time, however, the German owners started crossing their dogs with all kinds of Bulldogs and Boxers, which produced an undistinguishable breed after the World War II . The band made the long trip from Michigan to New Jersey because member Andrew Horowitz is a Pingry alumnus. The EP features various rough demos of songs that would later be featured on their first full length album, Marvin s Marvelous Mechanical Museum album Marvin s Marvelous Mechanical Museum , as well as two live tracks recorded at The Blind Pig in Ann Arbor, Michigan one of which was merely a banter track , and one recorded live on the Mitch Albom Show on WJR Radio in Detroit, Michigan. The only completely polished studio track featured on the EP is The Bidding . The discs were burned on CD R s by the band and packaged in plain white CD envelopes with a clear, circular window on the front. Jeverland refers to the northern part of the present day district of Landkreis Friesland Friesland in northern Germany with the town of Jever as the seat of its local government. The Jeverland was formed in the 15th century from the Barony of Jever , which itself descended from the R stringen Banter Viertel , part of stringen Gau stringen and the Wangerland . The town of Wilhelmshaven , founded in 1853, no longer belongs to Jeverland, but is an independent district. Despite that, the formerly independent church parishes of R stringen Heppens und Neuende are on the town s territory. In earlier times, agriculture was the mainstay of Jeverland s economy. Trade was chiefly handled by the small coastal sluice ports Sielhafen of Hooksiel, R stringersiel and Mariensiel. The Barony of Kniphausen state of Kniphausen , which was for a time entirely politically independent, was also located in Jeverland along with is two ports of Inhausersiel and Kniphausersiel.
