Joseph Gonzales or Jos Gonzalez was a American politician who held the office of sheriff in 1886 and Mayor in 1922 of Gonzales, Louisiana Gonzales , an area situated in the Ascension Parish, Louisiana Ascension Parish , East Baton Rouge , Louisiana and that in 1922 attained the rank of village.
