The gardens lie between Abbeydale Road Abbeydale Road South to the Northwest, the river Sheaf and the Midland Main Line railway line to the South and Abbeydale Industrial Hamlet Beauchief Dam to the East. The gardens were donated to the city by the John George Graves J. G.
