The college merged with the Oxford Female Institute , forming the OxfordCollege for Women which existed as an independent school until it merged with Miami University in 1928. John Witherspoon Scott , father of future first lady Caroline Harrison was the first president of the college following his tenure as president of the Oxford Female Institute. He served until 1859. The Oxford Female College building later became a sanitorium and then a Miami University residence Hall known as Fisher Hall. Notable Fisher Hall faculty residents were professors Walter Havighurst and Joseph M. Bachelor . The building, designed by Cincinnati architect James Keys Wilson , was listed on the National Register of Historic Places and despite vigorous opposition by local preservationists and the National Trust for Historic Preservation , it was demolished to make way for Miami s Marcum Conference Center. Oxford International College Shanghai is a private tutorial college in Shanghai , China for girls and boys aged 15 to 18 years. The school is a campus of Oxford International College in Oxford, UK, set up in association with British Education Ltd. The headmaster of the school is Dr. Oliver Kramer, former Head of Oriental Studies at Eton College. Oxford International College, Shanghai is a boarding school located in the Hongkou District in central Shanghai. This practice was stopped in 1886 by the Post Office as it was decided that the service was in contrevention of the post office monopoly. Templeton College was one of the colleges of the University of Oxford constituent colleges of the University of Oxford , England . It was an all graduate college, concentrating on the recruitment of students in business and management studies. The college was founded in 1965 as the Oxford Centre for Management Studies. The College was based at Egrove Park in Kennington, Oxfordshire Kennington , south of Oxford. Its buildings were opened in 1969, and were awarded listed status in 1999. It was renamed Templeton College in 1983 as a result of a donation from Sir John Templeton , in honour of his parents, Harvey Maxwell and Vella Handly Templeton. Initially a society of entitlement in the University, Templeton College began admitting graduate students in 1984 and became a full graduate college of the University by Royal Charter in 1995. In November 2005, the College transferred its executive education business to the Sa d Business School . On 26 February 2007, two bombs were found planted at Templeton College.
