It is owned by the Skylight Music Theatre . Description Broadway Theatre is located just south of downtown Milwaukee in the Historic Third Ward. The building was designed by Ringer & Son with a decorative commercial style architecture and built in 1907. It was converted in 1993 from a warehouse and now contains the 358 seat Cabot Theatre, a replicate 18th century Italy Italian Baroque style opera house , along with the more versatile 99 seat Studio Theatre. Currently, the Broadway Theatre Center is home to the Skylight Music Theatre , Milwaukee Chamber Theatre , and Renaissance Theaterworks . The now defunct experimental theater company Theatre X , also performed at the Center, until its demise in November 2004 as did Milwaukee Shakespeare and Bialystock & Bloom Theatre . In 2006, another experimental theater group, Alamo Basement , performed a unique theater stunt by conceiving, writing, rehearsing and performing an original full length play within 24 hours at the Broadway Theatre Center.     Unreferenced date June 2009 Orphan date February 2009 Little Theatre Off Broadway will be entering into its 50th Season in 2008. LTOB as it is called is located at 3981 Broadway, in the heart of downtown Grove City, a suburb of Columbus, Ohio . The theatre was originally built in 1916 as a silent movie theatre and then in approximately 1959 1960 became a church before becoming a community theatre in 1968. The theatre was gutted by a fire in 1978 and rebuilt. In 2002 the theatre went dark for five months and was gutted once more so a new stage could be built with two new dressing rooms underneath it. Little Theatre Off Broadway is a member of Ohio Community Theatre Association OCTA and participates yearly in their annual competition and is also a member of American Association of Community Theatres AACT and participates in their biennial conference. LTOB performs six shows per season two musicals, two comedies and two dramas. Our auditions are open to the public. LTOB offers children s theatre classes taught by Joy Schmitt. Joy s classes produce two shows annually and are performed, costumed and produced by the children from the classes. In December 2007, LTOB announced the creation of a Vocal Repertoire group. The group is being formed to serve as Ambassadors for LTOB in the coming 50th Anniversary year of the theatre. The repertoire of the group will be themed around Musical Theatre, with special emphasis on shows from LTOB s history, as well as Broadway standards, and popular songs from major shows. Solos and Choral works will be included. The group will represent LTOB at functions around Central Ohio, including performances at the Columbus Arts Festival, and Grove City s Arts in the Alley, among others. David M.     Broadway Center for the Performing Arts is a 501 c 3 non profit organization located in the historic Theater District 901 Broadway of downtown Tacoma, Washington . Encompassing the Pantages, Rialto, and Theatre on the Square, the Broadway Center manages the largest complex of theaters between Seattle, Washington and Portland, Oregon . Additionally, The Broadway Center Conservatory and Education Department provide one of the largest performing arts education programs in Washington U.S. state Washington State . Since 1918, the Broadway Center has been host to many famous figures and world class artists such as Franklin D. Roosevelt , Babe Ruth , Ronald Reagan , Hal Holbrook , Debbie Reynolds , Martin Short , Queen Latifah , Joan Rivers , and Wanda Sykes . Soon after, Greek immigrant Alexander Pantages arrived in the northwest with dreams of owning a chain of beautiful vaudeville theaters across the country.
