Brouillards or Mists or Fog is the first prelude of Claude Debussy s Pr ludes Debussy Deuxi.C3.A8me Livre second set of preludes . It can be considered as the most harmonically complex of the entire series of preludes, hinting at polytonality . The left hand mainly employs the C diatonic collection, modulating shortly in the second theme and reverting in the coda, while the right hand uses the G flat minor diatonic collection on E flat, like the left hand modulating briefly before returning. ref The Piano Works of Claude Debussy by Elie Robert Schmitz in his description of the piece. ref multi listen start multi listen item filename Pre1ogg.ogg title Debussy Pr ludes, Book 2 I. On January 1, 2006 Engis had a total population of 5,686. The total area is 27.74  km which gives a population density of 205 inhabitants per km . It is in this village that in 1829 the first Neanderthal er skulls were discovered by Philippe Charles Schmerling , prior to the official discovery in the Neanderthal, Germany Neander Valley in 1856. In late 1930 and early 1931, several thousand cases of acute pulmonary attacks occurred in the Meuse valley, centered on Engis, and 60 people died. A commission of inquiry set up by the Belgian government concluded that the cause was poisonous waste gases, primarily sulfur dioxide, emitted by the many factories in the valley and the furnaces used by the population, in conjunction with unusual climatic conditions coupled with the unique topographic characteristics of the area. ref Mage, J., and Batta, G.
