Cath Palug , also Cath Paluc , Cath Balug , Cath Balwg , Chapalu , Capalu , or Capalus , literally Palug s cat , or maybe from the Welsh palug, meaning clawing, was a monstrous cat in French and Welsh mythology Welsh legend . It was said to haunt the Isle of Anglesey , and to have killed and eaten nine score warriors. The Welsh Triads Welsh Triads Trioedd Ynys Prydain make it the offspring of an enormous sow, Henwen, and claim that at birth it was thrown into the sea to drown. Surviving, it instead swam to Anglesey where the sons of Palug raised it, not realizing its deadly potential. Escaping, it wreaked havoc until slain by Cai Sir Kay . In other versions, the victorious hero is King Arthur himself. Another tradition of unknown origin associates it with the Mont du Chat in the Savoie region of France, near Lake Geneva , where Arthur was defeated by the Cat in a battle fought in a swamp near that mountain. Cath Gabhra English language English The Battle of Gabhair or Gowra is a narrative of the Fenian Cycle of Irish mythology . It tells of the destruction of the fianna and the deaths of most of its warriors in a battle against the forces of High King of Ireland High King Cairbre Lifechair . It is notable for depicting the fianna, the heroes of the cycle, in a negative light. ref name MacKillop MacKillop, p. 78. ref Cath Gabhra exists in many versions, and is referenced often in other works, including poems about Cairbre Lifechair in the Book of Leinster and in the long narrative Acallam na Sen rach . Cairbre s daughter Sgiam Sholais is betrothed to Maolsheachlainn, prince of the D isi , whose father Oengus has been killed by Cairbre s sons F acha Sroiptine and Eochaid Doimlen. However, the fianna and Fionn mac Cumhaill demand a large tribute for the marriage, and Cairbre decides their power has corrupted them. He raises a vast army from Ulster , Leinster , and Connacht , which is joined by the faction of the fianna loyal to Fionn s enemy Goll mac Morna . Fionn and the fianna are aided by the men of Munster and the D isi. Cairbre starts the final battle by killing Fionn s servant Ferdia, and the armies meet at Gabhair for the final confrontation. The fianna s greatest warrior, Fionn s grandson Oscar Irish mythology Oscar the son of Ois n , slays Cairbre, but dies of his wounds, thereby sealing the fianna s fate. In some versions, Fionn himself is slain by Aichlech while he weeps over the death of his grandson, the first time he has ever cried for any of the fianna. Cairbre s forces ultimately triumph, and the only survivors of the fianna are Ois n and Ca lte mac R n in , who live long enough to recount their tale to Saint Patrick two centuries later, according to Acallam na Sen rach . The location of the battle varies from text to text. Gabhra is generally considered identical to the modern Garristown , County Dublin , but other texts place it in Gabhra , County Meath . ref ... more details

First formed in 2001, this punk rock band consisted of Okahira Kenji, Chiba Takatoshi, and Tamakoshi Masahiro. They released their first album a year later under that name and their popularity increased. Before their debut their name was only 3B Lab because there were three members Kenji Chiba Tamakoshi and each member had B type blood the represents a star which will brighten the future . Two members, Uneoki Shuji and Shoji, came later on because it was said that they needed some help playing at their lives.
