    Christ the King Priory is a monastery of Benedictine monk s located north of Schuyler , Nebraska , United States . It belongs to the missionary Ottilien Congregation and is part of the Benedictine Confederation . It was established in 1935 by the Abbey of Muensterschwarzach Abbey Muensterschwarzach , Germany , in order to secure the survival of the missionary work during the Nazi regime.     Christ The King Anglican College is a small co educational school in Cobram, Victoria founded in 2000. Its first Principal school principal was Andrew Williams, served until 2003. Both his sons, Peter, and Tim, were pupils there. His wife Carol set up the brand new library. The two innaugral sports houses were Farrah Blue and Cowell Red , named after the Bishop David Farrah and the Local Priest Lyall Cowell. After initially starting with 20 students in 2000 with Grades 5 7, it rose to 102 by 2003 with Grades from 4 10, and from there increasing year by year. It comprises Sharpeville , Vereeniging , Boipatong , Vanderbijlpark , Sebokeng and the southern side of the city of Johannesburg in South Africa . The diocese is the area between the Vaal Triangle where Sharpeville, Vereeniging, Boipatong, Vanderbijlpark and Sebokeng are found and the southern side of the city of Johannesburg in South Africa. The diocese is small in size, being only 80km long and half that wide, but rapid urbanisation has resulted in significant growth in parishes. College history The Christ the King College in its initial stage was started in 1939 in the Civil lines near Mr Purushotam Khanna s house by the first Bishop of Jhansi, Bishop Francis Xavier Fenech from Malta, Europe. The first principal was Br. Leo Franciscan name OFM , CAP from Mahim, Bombay. He remained for 18 years in C.K.C.and through his hard work saw to the development of the school. The school that time had more than 50 of Anglo Indian students. From then onwards C.K.C. with its special recognition from the council still continues to be an Anglo Indian school. In 1940 the school was shifted to the present St.Joseph s school in the cantt. Br. Leo was a popular and efficient man.The first headmaster of C.K.C. was Mr. Eric D souza. Building began in March 1933 and the foundation stone was laid on 6 August of that year by Bishop Thomas Mulvany. Messrs. Murphy of Dublin were the builders, while much of the artistic decoration work was completed by Earley & Co. of Camden Street, Dublin and Oppenheimer Ltd., of Old Trafford, Manchester . The formal opening and dedication of the new cathedral took place on 6 September 1936. At the request of Pope Pius XI , it became the first cathedral in the world to be dedicated to Christ the King .
