A skill tree consists of a series of skills sometimes known as Experience point Perks perks or by other names which can be earned by the player as her or she Experience point Level based progression levels up or otherwise progresses his or her player character . Skilled workers were often politically active through their craft guild s. Relative supply of skilled labor Education is an important factor in increasing skill level. The increase in number of people attending high schools and colleges contribute to the increase in the supply of skilled labor. Mass education, however, is not the only factor. Immigration is also a big contributor. Immigrants created a bimodal skill distribution, where most immigrants were either low skill or high skill workers. There were few who were in between. Historical Reference In the United States such factors have caused an overall increase in the supply of skilled labor during the 20th century. The shift from unskilled to skilled labor can be attributed to increases in human capital, or in other words increasing the efficiency of humans through investment in knowledge. The American boom in public education, specifically high schools, congruently increased the level of human capital and total factor productivity. Relative demand of skilled labor One of the factors that increases the relative demand for skilled labor is attributed to the introduction of computers. 1. Analytical skill

No footnotes date June 2010 refimprove date August 2010 Analytical skill is the ability to visualize, articulate, and solve both complex and uncomplicated problems and concepts and make decisions that are sensical based on available information. Such skills include demonstration of the ability to apply logical thinking to gathering and analyzing information, designing and testing solutions to problems, and formulating plans. To test for analytical skills one might be asked to look for inconsistencies in an advertisement, put a series of events in the proper order, or critically read an essay. Usually standardized test s and interview s include an analytical section that requires the examiner to use their logic to pick apart a problem and come up with a solution. Although there is no question that analytical skills are essential, other skills are equally required as well. For instance in systems analysis the systems analyst should focus on four sets of analytical skills systems thinking , organizational knowledge, problem identification, and problem analyzing and solving. It also includes the way we describe a problem and subsequently finding out the solutions.
