It is a model commonly used for counseling in Africa , Asia and South America and it works on three assumptions That someone is concerned or confused about someone or there is an issue that needs to be resolved, usually urgently. That the issue involved is such that it cannot be resolved through the person s own efforts. That the inability to resolve the issue without outside assistance necessitates a recourse to a higher being who possesses superior wisdom. This higher being is expected to function through earthly agents. This process involves the engagement of people with supernatural gifts such as prophet s in whatever religion and faith based counselors to help resolve the problem.
