  1. Domain aftermarket

Unreferenced date August 2009 The domain aftermarket is the secondary market for Internet domain name s in which a party interested in acquiring a domain that is already registered bids or negotiates a price to effect the transfer of registration from the registered holder of that domain name. The professional pursuit of domain name speculation speculation in the domain aftermarket is known as domaining . The domain aftermarket has grown substantially, as an increasing number of generic domains names that promise marketing appeal and desirability are registered by domain warehouses, or resellers. The domain aftermarket is facilitated by auction houses which provide communication methods for buyers and sellers to interact, often anonymously, to negotiate and close a transaction. They often provide additional services, such as financial escrow services and domain parking . 1. Schreier domain

In abstract algebra , a Schreier domain is an integrally closed integral domain where every nonzero element is primal i.e., whenever x divides yz , x can be written as x x sub 1 sub x sub 2 sub so that x sub 1 sub divides y and x sub 2 sub divides z . An integral domain is said to be pre Schreier if every nonzero element is primal. A GCD domain is an example of a Schreier domain. The term Schreier domain was introduced by P. M. Cohn in 1960s. The term pre Schreier domain is due to Muhammad Zafrullah. In general, an irreducible element is primal if and only if it is a prime element . Consequently, in a Schreier domain, every irreducible is prime. In particular, an atomic domain atomic Schreier domain is a unique factorization domain this generalizes the fact that an atomic GCD domain is a UFD. Symphony in The Domain is traditionally held on the third Saturday evening of January, performed by the Sydney Symphony . In 2007, the event celebrated its 25th anniversary , with a record crowd of 85 000 people. It is preceded by Summer Sounds in The Domain formally Jazz in The Domain the previous Saturday, and followed by Mazda Opera in The Domain . All the concerts are free. Symphony in The Domain presents a wide variety of classical music, most often including contemporary classical music by Australian composers. The event is enormously popular with both locals and tourists , and has become a much loved and celebrated part of Sydney Festival , as well as Sydney summer culture in general. Families especially make a night of it, many arriving with blankets and picnic banquets, making for a very relaxed atmosphere. As with all the Domain concerts, Symphony in The Domain has a performance time of two and a half hours, although entertainment is provided for people who arrive early to secure vantage areas closer to the main stage . Keen classical music lovers have been known to camp overnight to mark their spots on the massive lawns of The Domain . On some years, crowds are welcomed to the event by the Lord Mayor of Sydney , and the Premier of NSW . 1. Domain sniping

Domain sniping is the practice of an individual registering a domain name whose registration has lapsed in the immediate moments after expiry. This practice has largely been rendered moot through ICANN s addition of the Redemption Grace Period RGP , which allows registrants 30 days to reclaim their domain name. ref http domains.kiwihosting.net.nz kb servlet KBServlet faq460.html Restoring a Deleted Domain Name from the Redemption Grace Period ref By law there are no perpetual rights to domain names after payment of registration fees lapses, aside from trademark rights granted by common law or statute. Although domain registrars often make multiple attempts to notify a registrant of a domain name s impending expiration, a failure on the part of the original registrant to provide the registrar with accurate contact information can make an unintended registration lapse possible. Unless the original registrant holds a trademark or other legal entitlement to the name, they are often left without any form of recourse in getting the domain name back. It is incumbent on registrants to be proactive in managing their name registrations and to be good stewards of their names. Prior to the Redemption Grace Procedure RGP individuals could engage in domain sniping in order to extort money from the original registrant to buy the name back. The addition of RGP has largely abated the ability to snipe names and therefore has moved the battle for expiring domain names to the domain registrar level, where companies such as GoDaddy or eNom retain names for auction through services such as TDNAM or Snapnames. The HEPN domain is located at the C terminus of the protein, directly after the DnaJ domain.
