Image Equalizer Cheat Code Cartridge , by Datel.JPG right thumb Equalizer Cheat Code Cartridge by Datel The Equalizer is a game hacking, cheat cartridge by Datel that was released for the Nintendo 64 . It was the last cheat cartridge Datel produced for the N64, and was designed to be sold at a lower price point compared to other competing cheat cartridges, such as Datel s ActionReplay Professional and the Blaze Xplorer64. The Equalizer lacked some of the features of the ActionReplay Professional such as the parallel interface port on the rear these missing features meant the Equalizer was functionally identical to the original N64 ActionReplay, but with an updated cheat code list. In the USA InterAct held the license for the ActionReplay brand and renamed it the GameShark , as such the Equalizer was rebranded the GameShark Lite The Equalizer is compatible with the N64 ActionReplay , and has a Replay built into it. When using both, the Equalizer is placed on the bottom, with the ActionReplay above it. The player can use codes from both without having to switch between devices. The Equalizer is not compatible with the GameShark Pro, however it is likely that the USA equivalent the GameShark Lite is compatible. Reception Fuse Video Game said that Equalizer was quite Simply the Best Value Cheat Cartridge on the market today. No footnotes date November 2009 Refimprove date December 2008 The Replay system is a little known subsystem within the Intel Pentium 4 processor. Its primary function is to catch operations that have been mistakenly sent for execution by the processor s Instruction scheduling scheduler . Operations caught by the replay system are then re executed in a loop until the conditions necessary for their proper execution have been fulfilled. Origins The replay system came about as a result of Intel s now defunct megahertz myth quest for ever increasing clock speeds . These higher clock speeds necessitated very lengthy pipeline computing pipelines up to 31 stages in the Pentium 4 Prescott Prescott core . Because of this, there are 6 stages between the scheduler and the execution unit s in the Prescott core. In an attempt to maintain acceptable performance, Intel engineers had to design the scheduler to be very optimistic. Operation The scheduler in a Pentium 4 processor is so aggressive that it will send operations for execution without a guarantee that they can be successfully executed. Among other things, the scheduler assumes all data is in level 1 CPU cache . The most common reason execution fails is that the requisite data is not available, which itself is most likely due to a cache miss. When this happens, the replay system springs into action. A game replay is a form of user generated content . In most instances, a game replay is a recording of a battle between opponents in a video game which can then be viewed by other players. It is most commonly used in real time strategy games like StarCraft , Command & Conquer , World in Conflict , Company of Heroes , and Age of Empires , as well as some first person shooter games such as Counter Strike via console command . Recently, game replays are being used on non computer platforms and games, such as Halo Wars . A number of websites allow users to upload replays of certain games so that other players can download and watch them, either for entertainment or improving their own skills. Uses Game replays are commonly used in the prevention and detection of cheating, especially when used in electronic sports . Game replays are often watched to develop skill at a game, by watching better players and their techniques and build order s. Replays are also used to raise stature in a particular game s community, and entire websites are dedicated to the replays. Replays are the driving force behind replay review s. A replay review can be loosely defined as a review of a game replay by an experienced player to determine what can be done to improve and expand upon the initial gamer s skill. Entire websites are dedicated to these reviews, such as http www.gamereplays.org Gamereplays.org . Methods of Recording Replays are normally saved in proprietary formats made by the developers. orphan date August 2009 Session replay is the ability to replay a visitors journey on a web site which can include Computer mouse mouse movements, Mouse click click s, and web form form entry. This can be useful in studying web site usability , customer behavior , etc. There are generally two ways to capture and replay visitor sessions 1. Tag free server side Solutions such as UserReplay capture all website traffic and replay every visitor interaction, from every device, including all mobile users from any location. Sessions are replayed step by step, enabling you to search, locate and analyse the most important aspects of a visitors session including Mouse click click s and web form form entry. These solutions are more secure, fail safe and do not hinder site performance. 2. Client side There are many tag based solutions that offer video replay of a visitors session. These solutions can also show mouse movements and clicks. The underlying data for the videos is recorded by tagging pages. A tag based solution will miss a large proportion of mobile traffic because of their failure to handle Javascript. ref Cite web url http www.foreseeresults.com CSSessionReplay.html accessdate 9 February 2011 publisher ForeSee Results title CS SessionReplay ref References Reflist Category Web analytics ... more details

Unreferenced date May 2009 This article describes a replay competition. It is not to be confused with instant replay , the videotape review process. In sports, a replay also known as a rematch or a do over , depending on the context refers to a second game between two teams after the first game s results were either nullified or ended in a Tie draw draw . A game may be nullified if the game s result is protested usually the losing team and the organizers ruled to replay the game thereby upholding the protest . If the game is nullified, the results of the first game may be discarded. Full replays are extremely rare in most sports most sports organizations have provisions that either allow ties to stand or mandate they be broken within the game with overtime sports overtime . Among organizations that have a replay system are the AFL Grand Final , some competitions of association football , and Nippon Professional Baseball . In all cases, the replay system is only used in playoff tournaments, when a winner must be decided. Notable replayed games The 1919 Buffalo Prospects season 1919 New York Pro Football League championship between the Buffalo 1920s NFL teams Buffalo Prospects and Rochester Jeffersons ended with Buffalo winning 20 0 the original match had ended in a scoreless tie. The 1932 NFL Playoff Game can be seen as a replay, since the two teams had tied earlier in the year and the extra game was needed to decide the league championship. Unreferenced date December 2009 A replay attack is a form of Computer network network attack in which a valid data transmission is maliciously or fraudulently repeated or delayed. This is carried out either by the originator or by an Adversary cryptography adversary who intercepts the data and retransmits it, possibly as part of a Spoofing attack masquerade attack by Internet Protocol IP packet information technology packet substitution such as stream cipher attack . Example Suppose characters in cryptography Alice wants to prove her identity to Bob. Bob requests her password as proof of identity, which Alice dutifully provides possibly after some transformation like a hash function meanwhile, Mallory is eavesdropping on the conversation and keeps the password or the hash . After the interchange is over, Mallory posing as Alice connects to Bob when asked for a proof of identity, Mallory sends Alice s password or hash read from the last session, which Bob accepts. Countermeasures A way to avoid replay attacks is by using session token s Bob sends a one time token to Alice, which Alice uses to transform the password and send the result to Bob e.g. computing a hash function of the session token appended to the password . On his side Bob performs the same computation if and only if both values match, the login is successful. Now suppose Mallory has captured this value and tries to use it on another session Bob sends a different session token, and when Mallory replies with the captured ..., and convince Alice to use that token in her transformation. Mallory can then replay her reply at a later ... code MAC , which Alice should check.
