David Marc Dave Kreps b. 1950, New York City New York is a game theory game theorist and economist and professor at the Stanford Graduate School of Business Graduate School of Business at Stanford University . He is known for his analysis of dynamic choice models and non cooperative game theory, particularly the idea of sequential equilibrium , which he developed with Stanford Business School colleague Robert B. Wilson . He earned his A.B. from Dartmouth College in 1972 and his Ph.D. from Stanford in 1975. Kreps won the John Bates Clark Medal in 1989. He was awarded an honorary Ph.D. by the Universit Paris Dauphine in 2001. He has also written many books, including Microeconomics for Managers and A Course in Microeconomic Theory . He is married to Dr. Helena Madden and has two children, Heather and Patrick, who now both are grown and currently reside in Weymouth. Madden joined the Weymouth Fire Department in 1977 and was eventually appointed chief in 1993. While working for the Fire Department, Madden returned to school and graduated cum laude from Boston College in 1995. In 1999, Madden was elected President of the Massachusetts Fire Chiefs Association. Biography DavidM. Bailey was the son of Presbyterian missionairies and was raised in Beirut, Lebanon . He spent some of his youth in Germany where he learned to play the guitar , played in some bands, and began writing songs. Upon returning to the United States, he attended Grove City College he then got married and entered corporate America . He soon was diagnosed with a Glioblastoma brain tumor that was to have killed him in 6 months. He quit his job and decided to tour and write songs as long as he could. He toured and performed for a few years in the duo Not By Chance along with bassist Douglas Ebert. In 1997 the group dissolved and david toured without accompaniment.
