Overton is the founder, Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer of the Cheesecake Factory, Inc. , the ninth largest restaurant company in the United States measured by market capitalization. Born in April 1946 in Detroit , Michigan , Overton attended Wayne State University and earned a bachelor s degree in Economics and History in 1967. He moved to San Francisco to attend Hastings College of Law , but in 1968 he left his law studies to become a rock n roll drummer for the Billy Roberts Blues Band. Biography David M. Bailey was the son of Presbyterian missionairies and was raised in Beirut, Lebanon . He spent some of his youth in Germany where he learned to play the guitar , played in some bands, and began writing songs. Upon returning to the United States, he attended Grove City College he then got married and entered corporate America . He soon was diagnosed with a Glioblastoma brain tumor that was to have killed him in 6 months. He quit his job and decided to tour and write songs as long as he could. He toured and performed for a few years in the duo Not By Chance along with bassist Douglas Ebert. In 1997 the group dissolved and david toured without accompaniment.     David M. Potter 6 December 1910 18 February 1971 was an American historian of the Southern United States South . He was born in Augusta, Georgia , and graduated from Emory University in 1932. At Yale he worked with Ulrich Bonnell Phillips . His earned his Ph.D. in 1940 and published Lincoln and His Party in the Secession Crisis in 1942. As professor of history at Yale 1942 1961 and Stanford 1961 71 he directed numerous dissertations, and served on numerous editorial and professional boards. He was a pioneer in sponsoring the history of women. Potter won, posthumously, the 1977 Pulitzer Prize for History for The Impending Crisis, 1848 1861 1976 , which was an in depth narrative and analysis of the causes of the Civil War. His main achievement was to put the history of the South in national perspective. He rejected the conflict model of Charles A. Beard and emphasized the depth of consensus on American values.
