Deal or No Deal USA visits South Africa The US version of Deal or No Deal visited South Africa in early 2008, to tape a special episode as part of the show s ongoing World Tour. In this special edition, all elements of the South African version were used, except that the game was played by American rules, using American money and contestants. Ed Jordan joined US host Howie Mandel as co host. This special episode aired on the American NBC network on May 14, 2008. This episode was the last stop on the Deal or No Deal world tour, but was the second stop to be taped. M net aired the special episode later.
