They played in Joe Louis Arena and Cobo Arena in downtown Detroit, Michigan as well as The Palace of Auburn Hills and Compuware Arena Compuware Sports Arena in the suburbs. For a time, they were led by star player coach Andy Chapman until he was lured away by the more deep pocketed Detroit Safari Detroit Neon in 1994. The big stars of the Rockers included Drago and goalie Bryan Finnerty Bryan Goose Finnerty . The Rockers won the 1991 1992 NPSL Championship. Unreferenced date March 2009 The Rockers MC Rockers Motor Club was a puppet club of one of the Montreal , Canada chapters of the Hells Angels Canada Hells Angels biker culture Motorcycle Club . Its members were motorcycle bikers who participated in the Quebec Biker war and also served the members of the Hells Angels Nomads chapter and other chapters in Quebec . The gang was created on March 26, 1992 and was primarily active in the Montreal area. Members of the group were arrested in the 2001 Operation Springtime by Quebec authorities. Various members were subsequently tried and pled guilty to various charges of gangsterism. A second Rockers chapter was created in 2000, when the Death Riders MC of Laval became the Rockers North Chapter. History Jesse & The Rockers was formed in 1997 by Heath Hero Williamson as a side project to what he felt was his serious band. Originally consisting of Hero and Rocket, Larry was quickly added to the band. After some shuffling, the band members settled into their positions Hero on bass and lead vocals, Rocket on drums, and Larry on lead guitar.
