iS DOS is a disk operating system for Russian ZX Spectrum clones. iS DOS has been developed in 1990 or 1991, by Iskra Soft Leningrad , USSR . DOS V was a Japanese computing initiative starting in 1990 to allow personal computer s to handle double byte Japanese text via software alone. It was developed by IBM for its PS 55 machines a localized version of the IBM Personal System 2 PS 2 .
