    The Magic Drum and Bugle Corps is an inactive World Class formerly Division I Drum and bugle corps modern drum and bugle corps based in Orlando, Florida and founded in 1989, and is a member corps of Drum Corps International . Previously known as the Magic of Orlando , and during a financially rough period in 2001 2002 when performing strictly as an exhibition corps, as the Micro Magic . The corps programs have often been theatrical, and have drawn upon the music of The Walt Disney Company Disney s Fantasia film Fantasia and Pirates of the Caribbean , as well as that of Cirque du Soleil . The Magic are six time DCI Division I World Class finalists, having placed highest at 8th in 1996. They are also one time Division II champions, finishing first in 2002 with a score of 99.05 the corps also competed in Division I finals that season and placed 11th .
