History The band formed in Hayward, California in the late 70 s. The band included future Metallica bassist Cliff Burton , future Faith No More guitarist Jim Martin musician Big Jim Martin and future Faith No More Ozzy Osbourne drummer Mike Bordin Mike Puffy Bordin , all of whom were still in high school . Additional members included singer Kevin Costa and guitarist Danny Magalhaes. EZ Street was Jim Martin s band, and Cliff wasn t very into it. From what he said, they were sort of a bar band, doing basically 70 s rock covers. EZ Word was a word processor developed as part of the Andrew User Interface System , a user interface research project jointly done by both IBM and the Carnegie Mellon University .
