    Mergeto Endangered Species Act date March 2010 In the United States the Endangered Species Preservation Act of 1966 Public Law 89 669 was the predecessor to the Endangered Species Act .Passed by Congress, this act permitted the listing of native U.S animal species as endangered and for limited protections upon those animals. This Act caused the Secretary of the Interior to initiate and carry out program efforts to conserve, restore, and in some cases propagate certain species of indigenous fish and wildlife he determined to be in danger of extinction. The Act also consolidated and even expanded authority for the Secretary of the Interior to manage and administer the National Wildlife Refuge System . However, with time, researchers noticed that the animals on the endangered species list were not getting enough protection, thus further threatening their extinction. The endangered species program was expanded by the Endangered Species Act of 1969 .     An Endangered Species Recovery Plan is a document describing protocols for protecting and enhancing rare species rare and endangered species populations. Section 4 f of the USA s Endangered Species Act of 1973 directs the Secretary of the Interior and the Secretary of Commerce to develop and implement recovery plans to promote the conservation of endangered or threatened species. The Fish and Wildlife Service and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration National Marine Fisheries Service are responsible for administering the Act. The recovery plan specifies what research and management actions are necessary to support recovery, but do not themselves commit manpower or funds. At this time, the band had virtually no artistic control over the music the album was a project of Capitol Records .     The European Endangered Species Programme or EEP is the most intensive type of population management for a species kept in European Association of Zoos and Aquaria EAZA zoos. Each of the EEPs has a coordinator someone with a special interest in and knowledge of the species concerned, who is working in an EAZA zoo or aquarium assisted by a Species Committee. ref name eep The coordinator has many tasks to coordinate, such as collecting information on the status of all the animals of the species for which he or she is responsible kept in EAZA zoos and aquaria, producing a studbook , carrying out demographic and genetical analyses, and producing a plan for the future management of the species . Together with the Species Committee, recommendations are made each year on which animals should breed or not breed, which individual animals should go from one zoo to another or on breeding loans, and so on.
