She received a BA from Cornell University in 1969 and a MFA in Photography from SUNY Buffalo Visual Studies Workshop in 1978. In 1976 she attended the Aperion Workshops and studied under Ralph Gibson . She is a master black and white printer having made prints for clients such as Robert Mapplethorpe , Roni Horn , and the Smithsonian Institution .
