One source date September 2011 Ismail I 1279 July 6, 1325 was the grandson of Muhammed II al Faqih and the fifth Nasrid ruler of the Moors Moorish Emirate of Granada in Al Andalus on the Iberian Peninsula in 1314 1325. Ismail I was the son of the princess Fatima, daughter of Muhammed II al Faqih and nephew of both sultans Muhammed III and Nasr, Sultan of Granada Nasr . His father was Abu Sa id Faraj, also a cousin as well as brother in law to the sultans Muhammed III and Nasr, Sultan of Granada Nasr , and his own wife Fatima. A cultured and refined man, he significantly added to the Alhambra complex and the palace of Generalife . He also built the Alcazar Genil after 1319, which functioned as a residence for the elderly women of the sultan s household, and a new palace complex that later developed into the Palacio de Comares. Ismail I fathered at least four sons Muhammed, Ismail, Faraj and Yusef two of whom would succeed him respectively as Muhammed IV, Sultan of Granada Muhammed IV and Yusuf I, Sultan of Granada Yusuf I . Ismail I was assassinated by his cousin, Muhammad who was the governor of Algeciras the men had argued over a slave girl seized at one of Ismail s raid on the Spanish town of Martos. Servants carried the dying Ismail I to his mother Fatima s chambers where he perished from his wounds on July 6, 1325. Refimprove date September 2011 Muhammed VI 1332 &ndash 25 April 1362 was the brother in law of Ismail II, Sultan of Granada Ismail II , by his marriage to one of Ismail II s full blood sisters, and the tenth Nasrid ruler of Granada in Iberian Peninsula Iberia . He was a second cousin of Muhammed V, Sultan of Granada Muhammed V and Ismail II, Sultan of Granada Ismail II , whom he conspired against. He was descended from the collateral female branch of the Nasrid Dynasty through his great grandmother Fatima, daughter of Muhammed II al Faqih, Sultan of Granada Muhammed II al Faqih her second son Muhammad sired a son Ismail, who was father of Muhammed VI. He was known in Spanish as El Bermejo for his red hair. Yusuf IV, Sultan of Granada Yusuf IV was his maternal grandson. Moorish chroniclers described him as a coarse man in dress and manners. He aligned himself with the Christian kingdom of Aragon and discarded the usual tribute of his ancestors to Castile. In January 1362 at Gaudix, he took many Castilians captives after their incursion. Muhammed V, Sultan of Granada Muhammed V had returned to Andalusia in 1361. He captured Malaga, Loja, Antequera, Velez and Alhama. Muhammed VI fled Granada in March 1362. He was murdered at Tablada, a town near Seville on April 25, 1362, by the order of King Peter I of Castile , who had helped restore Muhammed V, Sultan of Granada Muhammed V to his throne. Sayyid Abd al Malik emigrated from Hadhramaut to India in 14th century AD, earlier than other emigrations from Hadhramaut. He later married a daughter of Nasirabad nobility and acquired Azmat Khan title. Khan title Khan title was given in order to consider him as the local nobility. In addition, they put Azmat which means noble because Abd al Malik was originated from sayyid lineage. His descendants still retain this name as their patronymic until today. Unreferenced date May 2009 Abdul Khaliq Gajadwani died 1179 was one of a group of Central Asian Sufi teachers known simply as Khwajagan the Masters of the Naqshbandi order. Abdul Khaliq was born in the small town of Ghijduvan, near Bukhara . His father had migrated to Central Asia from Malatya , in eastern Anatolia where he had been a prominent faqih . While Abdul Khaliq was studying tafsir in Bukhara he first had an awakening of interest in the path. He received further training at the hands of Yusuf Hamdani , and was the next link in the Naqshbandi silsila following him. Abdul Khaliq bequeathed to subsequent generations of the Naqshbandi silsila a series of principles governing their Sufi practice, concisely formulated in Persian and known collectively as the Sacred Words kalimat i qudsiya , or the Rules or Secrets of the Naqshbandi Order.
