As a jeweller s daughter, Cavalieri began her profession in 1966 in Belo Horizonte city. Career Cavalieri first learnt the trade from her mother who had built a differentiated customers group and had experience in the field. In 1976 she launched the FC trademark which was created and designed by her sister Edwiges Cavalieri. She later met her husband through such ventures, and subsequently moved to Rio de Janeiro city. There she established her company and manufactured jewels for Brazilian and international jewelers. She was one the first designers to create refined jewels which combined frog and fish leather with precious stones. In 1992 she moved to Bueonos Aires city in order to attend the courses provided by the Argentinean Jewelry Clocks & Watches Chamber. Her sons also followed in her steps, becoming the third generation in the jewellery industry. Fatima was a member of the Argentinean Jewelry Chamber and was the first women elected as the director. She was also the organiser and promoter of the first national conference of Argentinean jewelers, which was held at the Park Hayatt Buenos Aires Hotel.
