Theodore Fawcett was born at Craven Hill , London , England on 10 February 1832. The son of a colonel in the British Army Army , he was educated at Cheltenham College , and in 1851 was commissioned in The Carabiniers 6th Dragoon Guards . In 1859, Fawcett emigrated to Western Australia , taking up land in the Swan, Western Australia Swan district. He became a Justice of the Peace in 1862. He returned to England in 1863 and 1864, where he married Eliza Hill on 30 March 1864. They would have three sons and four daughters. Fawcett returned to Western Australia in 1864, farming at Pinjarra Park near Pinjarra, Western Australia Pinjarra until 1882. He was twice acting resident magistrate for the Shire of Murray Murray district. He was also the only brandy distillation distiller in Western Australia. On 28 November 1876, Fawcett contested the Western Australian Legislative Council Electoral region of Wellington seat of Wellington , but was unsuccessful. Ten years later, on 12 May 1886, Fawcett won the Legislative Council Electoral region of Murray and Williams seat of Murray and Williams in a by election , holding it until 30 January 1889. He died at Pinjarra Park on 21 March 1898.     Joseph Fawcett c.1758 24 January 1804 was an 18th century English Presbyterianism English Presbyterian minister and poet. Fawcett began his education at Reverend French s school in Ware, Hertfordshire Ware , Hertfordshire and in 1774 entered the dissenting academy Daventry Academy at Daventry . At the school, he practiced his preaching on thorn bushes. In 1780 Fawcett was called to be the morning preacher at Marsh Street Presbyterian Chapel in Walthamstow , east of London. His adoption of Unitarianism led to a schism in the congregation and he resigned in 1787. On 23 September 1782, Fawcett married the daughter of his schoolteacher, Charlotte French. In 1785 he began a series of Sunday evening lectures at the Old Jewry meeting house in the City of London . This series established Fawcett as one of the most popular Dissenting preachers of the time.
