Although marketed as an album of new recordings it was actually a compilation of leftover songs from Melanie s time at that label and released without her consent, after she left to form her own record label. Two of the songs had been previously released on the soundtrack album to the R.P.M. movie produced by Barry De Vorzon & Perry Botkin, Jr. in 1970. The United Kingdom release of the album had a scratch and sniff scratch n sniff label on the sleeve with the message Rub gently to release the magic of Melanie s Garden. The song People in the Front Row was later sampled by Australian Hip hop music hip hop group Hilltop Hoods for their song The Nosebleed Section . The GardenCity Football Field , is a stadium in GardenCity, Michigan . It is usually used for GardenCity High School MichiganGardenCity High School Football, GardenCity s little league football team, and GardenCity High School Soccer. All of the teams are nicknamed the Cougars. The stadium is also the home of the Cambridge High School Panthers flag football team. It has no official capacity but the stadium can seat over 2,000 fans. The stadium is located next to the parking lot for Cambridge High School. Names The stadium has been called the GardenCity Football Field throughout most of its history. In 2009, it was renamed Metropolitan Field, after a local car dealership in GardenCity. The name change was made official when a sign was built over the score board. In 2011 however, the dealership closed and the Metropolitan Field sign was taken down. A new sign took its place displaying the school s name as well as the new football logo for the Cougars, introduced in 2011. Tenants GardenCity High School Football Field usually hosts home games for the GardenCity High School Cougars football and soccer teams. It also is used as the home for the Cougars GCYAA team, which is for kids ages 7 13. It is also the home of the Cambridge High School Panthers flag football team, and has hosted GCHS graduation ceremonies. Field The field has always been grass. Head football coach Scott Murray had been looking into having the football logo painted at midfield, as well as some art for the endzones. The project was originally put on hold along with the addition of a tunnel for varsity football players after fundraising issues, however new fundraisers coming up have the project back in action.
