Although marketed as an album of new recordings it was actually a compilation of leftover songs from Melanie s time at that label and released without her consent, after she left to form her own record label. Two of the songs had been previously released on the soundtrack album to the R.P.M. movie produced by Barry De Vorzon & Perry Botkin, Jr. in 1970. The United Kingdom release of the album had a scratch and sniff scratch n sniff label on the sleeve with the message Rub gently to release the magic of Melanie s Garden. The song People in the Front Row was later sampled by Australian Hip hop music hip hop group Hilltop Hoods for their song The Nosebleed Section . The GardenCity Football Field , is a stadium in GardenCity, Michigan . It is usually used for GardenCity High School Football, GardenCity s little league football team, and GardenCity High School Soccer. The stadium is also the home of the Cambridge High School Panthers flag football team. GardenCity Football Field has no official capacity but the bleachers can seat well over 1,000 fans. Attendance often becomes a problem because more than 2,000 fans usually attend Cougar football games, and the small space near the bleachers often causes overcrowding. The stadium is located next to the parking lot for Cambridge High School. Names The stadium has been called the GardenCity Football Field throughout most of its history. In 2009, the Stadium was renamed Metropolitan Field, after a local car dealership in GardenCity. The name change was made official when a sign was erected over the score board. In 2011 however, the dealership closed and the Metropolitan Field sign was taken down. A new sign took its place displaying the school s name as well as the new football logo for the Cougars, introduced in 2011. Tenants GardenCity High School Football Field usually hosts home games for the GardenCity High School Cougars football and soccer teams. It also is used as the home for the Cougars GCYAA team, which is for kids ages 7 13. The Cambridge High School Panthers play their flag football games at the stadium. Graduation ceremonies have also been held at the stadium. Field The field has always been grass. Head football coach Scott Murray has been looking into having the football logo painted at midfield, as well as some art for the endzones. They may be ready for the 2012 football season.
