Georgvon Siemens is a nephew of the inventors and industrialists Werner von Siemens Werner , Carl Wilhelm Siemens William , and Carl Heinrich von Siemens Carl von Siemens . His father, a high judicial officer, provided most of the funds of the later Siemens AG. Georgvon Siemens was on the board of directors of the Deutsche Bank from 1870 to 1900. One of his top priorities was the financing of international railway projects, including the Northern Pacific Railway Northern Pacific , and the Baghdad Railway . From 1874 until his death, he was voted several times to both the Prussia n House of Representatives and the German Reichstag German Empire Reichstag .
