It spanned 18 editions during this period and sometimes included flexidiscs , compilations a Compact Cassette cassette and an LP album LP , respectively or split 7 records which themselves featured artists as diverse as Ausgang, Portion Control, Bushido, Shockheaded Peters, Hotalacio, Rake, Cindytalk and Richard Johnson s own band, Splintered band . The magazine itself covered underground music, films, art and literature reviews and featured Wire, The Fall, Killing Joke, Crass, Coil , Henry Rollins, Lydia Lunch , Front Line Assembly, Big Black, Swans band Swans , The Virgin Prunes, The Cure , Sonic Youth, Whitehouse band Whitehouse , The Butthole Surfers and more besides. It extends about two miles from Bushey Heath to Harrow, London Harrow and is most easily reached via Stanmore . It takes its name from the pre historic earthwork which is one of a number of Grim s Ditch es in southern England. The highroad Old Redding passes through the centre of the trail which can be reached either by Oxhey Lane or Bushey Heath and includes a popular viewpoint for many locals. However views are actually more extensive through the breaks in the trees a few hundred yards further up the high road. Some of these are surprising for a low hill. He played high school football at Red Bluff High School and college football at Oregon State University . In 1964, as a sophomore, he started at left end for the Beavers, helping to lead the team to the 1965 Rose Bowl. The 1965 Rose Bowl remains Oregon State s last Rose Bowl appearance. After the 1966 1967 NFL football season, the Minnesota Vikings traded Fran Tarkenton for four draft picks in the 1967 NFL Draft . The Vikings used one of the four, a second round draft pick, to acquire Grim. He played with them for five seasons, helping them to the 1969 NFL championship and a Super Bowl IV appearance, before being traded with two other players and two draft picks as a part of the trade to the New York Giants for Fran Tarkenton. He played with the Giants for three seasons and the Chicago Bears for a season. Grim ended his career, playing with Fran Tarkenton and the Vikings for his final two seasons, helping the team to the 1976 NFC championship and a Super Bowl XI appearance.
