HOUSA was organized by the non profit relief organization Hands On Disaster Response. HOUSA was formed the week after Hurricane Katrina hit the Gulf Coast of the United States . Entrepreneurs David Campbell and Darius A. Monsef co founded HOUSA after meeting in Thailand while both were doing relief work following the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake 2004 Tsunami . This must be done with sufficient speed, because the slappee s goal is to pull his hand away, and out of the area where the hands overlap, to avoid the slap. If the slappee completely avoids all hand contact with the slapper during the slap, then the roles switch. However, the slappee cannot flinch too much.
