Hannes Hegen real name Johannes Eduard Hegenbarth , born May 16, 1925 in B hmisch Kamnitz now esk Kamenice is a Germany German illustrator and caricaturist and is most famous for creating the East Germany East German comic book Mosaik and its original protagonists, the Digedags . He studied at the University of Applied Arts Vienna and at the Academy of Visual Arts Leipzig . After his studies, he worked in Berlin , illustrating several magazines. His own creation Mosaik was first published in December, 1955. Hegen was solely responsible for only the first issues of the book. Later a team of artists and writers worked on the book, but only Hegen was credited on the cover. 223 issues were produced. Hegen worked on Mosaik until 1975, when he had a disagreement with the publisher and quit working, taking the rights to the Digedags characters with him. The Mosaik team continued without him and created new characters to appear in Mosaik . Today, Hegen lives in Berlin and is working on reprint and book editions of the original Mosaik comics. Hannes Hegen 2008 received the Max & Moritz Prize , the most important Germany German prize for comic artists from the International Comic Salon Erlangen . Sk ld was also a Linguistics linguist , a writer and a poet. He also wrote songs. Johannes Sk ld was born in China as the son of a Swedish missionary there. He grew up in the city of Norrk ping , Sweden, and was a childhood friend of Ture Nerman . After Gymnasium school Gymnasia high school he moved to Gothenburg to study at the G teborg University University . In Gothenburg, Hannes Sk ld got to know Zeth H glund and became active with him in the left wing of the workers movement. As a young bohemian , Hannes Sk ld traveled a lot in Europe and lived in Paris and Copenhagen . He published his first poetry book in 1911. The same year, he was put in the L ngholmen prison for spreading antimilitarist propaganda. In 1912 he released his second book that he had written in prison. Sk ld became Communist in 1917 after the Russian Revolution of 1917 Russian Revolution .
