Geoffrey Mark Wolfson , known as Mark Wolfson , born 7 April 1934 was the United Kingdom British Conservative Party UK Conservative Member of Parliament MP for Sevenoaks UK Parliament constituency Sevenoaks from 1979 until he retired in 1997. Mark Wolfson was educated at Eton College and Pembroke College, Cambridge . He served in the Royal Navy from 1952 54. After working as a teacher, he was Head of Youth Services at The Industrial Society from 1966 69, leading the I m Backing Britain campaign. Alice Wolfson , a Barnard College Barnard graduate and former Fulbright Scholar , is a veteran political activist in women s reproductive health issues, a lawyer, and a co founder of the National Women s Health Network . She played an important role at the Nelson Pill Hearings on Capitol Hill , where she and other soon to be prominent health feminists were galvanized by their success at warning women of the Pill s dangerous side effects.
