He wrote a range of works, but became mainly remembered as a writer of juvenile historical novel s. Life and work Treece was born in Wednesbury , Staffordshire , and graduated from the University of Birmingham in 1933. He went into teaching, first at The King s School, Tynemouth Tynemouth School . In 1939 he married Mary Woodman and settled in Lincolnshire as a teacher at Barton upon Humber Grammar School. The Most Reverend HenryHenry Doctor of Divinity D.D. 22 May 1846 8 March 1908 was an Ireland Irish Roman Catholic Prelate and from 1895 until 1908 he held the title Down and Connor Lord Bishop of Down and Connor . He was known for his energy and zeal, as well as his overt activism in local politics, founding the Belfast Catholic Association . Career Dr Henry was born in Loughguile , County Antrim . After his education at St Patrick s College, Maynooth he was ordained for the Diocese of Down and Connor in 1870. He was appointed to St. Malachy s College St Malachy s Diocesan College to teach French language French and Mathematics . He served as President of the College from 1876 1895 before his Bishop Catholic Church Episcopal nomination. He is the longest ever serving President of the College. He was appointed 25th Bishop of Down and Connor on 6 August 1895. Dr Henry believed that a religious order of priests could give invaluable help in the densely populated area of Subdivisions of Belfast West Belfast West Belfast .
