    Hindavi Swarajya Indian self rule or Hindu self rule is a term that has been used to describe sociopolitical movements seeking to remove external influences from India . Previous movements include the War of 27 years waged by the Maratha Empire to oust the Mughal Empire from the Indian Subcontinent in the late 17th century, and the Indian independence movement raised against the British Empire in the early 20th century. The term was first coined in 1644 to describe the resistance movement established by the Maratha Empire founder Shivaji against the rule of Mughal Empire Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb . Shivaji , in his teen years, took a blood oath at the Raireshwar Shiva temple near Pune , Maharashtra . Offering his blood to the Hindu god Shiva , he swore he would strive to achieve Hindu self rule by driving Aurangzeb and the Mughal Empire out of South Asia .     unreferenced date September 2008 The Battle of Kharda took place in 1795 between Nizam and Peshwa Madhavrao II , in which Nizam was badly defeated. Governor General John Shore followed the policy of non intervention despite that Nizam was under his protection. So this led to the loss of trust with British. This was the last battle fought together by all Maratha warlords. Maratha forces consisted of cavalry, including gunners, bowmen, artillery and infantry as below Peshwa i.e. Huzurat 70,665 cavalry consisting of Bhoite, Jadhav, Pant Pratinidhi, Pawar of Dhar and Nagardevale, Dafale of Jath, Shitole of Belgaum, Narsinghrao Vinchurkar, Rethrekar, Gharge Desai, Kanitkar, Phadke, Purandare, Raaste, Ghorpade Mudholkar,and Artillery of Laxmanrao Panshe along with all Sardar Clans of Maratha. This was important battle in which all and every Sardar of Peshwa Participated.
