It is named after the British monarch Queen Victoria . The station is underground and was recently renovated. It is the first underground station of the northern group of ISAP stations. The central station, Omonoia, is also underground. The architectural style of the station is Art Deco and the walls are covered with light blue tiles in contrast with the tiles of the Omonoia station, which are dark yellow. Before and after the renovation, the station s name is shown in big white labels that were made in Germany by Emaillierwerk Gottfried Dichanz . The concept of the station is very similar to the stations in Berlin, the stairs in this concept go directly to the street.     Unreferenced date December 2007 The Strofyli or Strofili station , Greek Stathmos Strofyliou or Strofiliou was a station of the Attica Railways Attica Rail in Kifissia , Greece and is also the northernmost station. The station is situated several kilometres north of Athens and is marked at the 16.5  km from the starting point in Lavriou Square not far from its current northernmost Attiko Metro s ISAP station. The station was opened in 1900. The station closed on August 8, 1938 and sources was the station was closed before the line entirely shut down on August 8, the line ended for some time in Kifissia. The station began with a 1 m gauge IM which was a route of Attica Rail with the Dionyssos mine.
